I have so much fun at work…

 ›I literally cannot believe I’m working‹

On the day of this shoot, it was 106 in Phoenix & it was SO hot we had to break [for an hour] to get water from a spigot [Olivia drank an impressive full 32 ounces & Marcin promptly high-fived her for being such a rockstar] to regain ourselves.

Marcin and Olivia were so amazing, I wish I could take photos of these two everyday. We had THE best afternoon with their amazingness, my cameras, my tiny babe & the stunning desert. I wanted to die – the cacti were so mind boggling, some of them are easily over 200 years old [rad!] .

Could not be any more excited about our move to the desert [or these photos!!!] or the moon that night! Scroll down to check out the epic moon shot – very worth it. Many, many thanks to these wonderful people for making this day so spectacular! xoxo

“We are OBSESSED with these photos! We actually both cried while going through [them]. We are so excited that we get you for our wedding day! Honestly, your work is amazing. UNREAL!! ”

— Marcin & Olivia

These photos were taken in the hot hot Phoenix heat [101!] at Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mountains [N 33° 28′ 50.5507″ + W 111° 15′ 40.6494″]  & yes the cactus were as cool in person as they look.

This is exactly what I dreamed of when moving to Arizona to become a wedding photographer. The saguaros are like the woods of the SouThwest. These two flew all the way down from Calgary to have their engagement photos taken at Loat Dutchman State Park. They were amazingly fun people and I cannot wait for their wedding in Scottsdale this Fall! Here are just two frames, will share the rest very soon! Check back next week!
