A golden bouquet, yellow climbing roses & a ceremony that felt like it had grown from the red earth itself. This wedding, hosted at L’Auberge de Sedona & Venue on the Mesa, captured everything we love most about photographing in this sacred place we call home.
This wedding is a love letter to spring in the desert. It honors what it means to host a wedding in Sedona—where the land is sacred, the light is always shifting, and beauty blooms wildly when you allow space for it.
As a Sedona wedding photographer, it’s rare to witness a couple so aligned with the season, the land & their own artistic vision. Josh & Erin’s day was romantic, intentional & refreshingly refined. Her intricately beaded gown & citrus-hued florals by Form Floral that danced in the wind were swoon worthy.
The morning began quietly at L’Auberge, where sunlight filtered through budding cottonwood trees and the sounds of Oak Creek set a peaceful tone. The bride got ready in a secluded suite by the water, surrounded by love and laughter. Her veil, embroidered with delicate floral clusters, echoed the early bloom of spring around us. Every frame felt soft, feminine, and timeless.
Before heading to the Venue on the Mesa, we captured portraits beneath cascading blooms of Lady Banks roses, an ephemeral moment that only happens once a year in Sedona! Their joyful yellow mirrored the playful poppies in her bouquet. These floral arches, paired with his crisp white tux and her glowing smile, made for some of our favorite Sedona photography moments of the season.
Perched atop red rock vistas, Venue on the Mesa by Open Venues is the kind of place that makes you stop and breathe deeper. As Sedona wedding photographers, we’re always looking for harmony between nature & design & this won our hearts.
