As a Sedona maternity photographer, I’m endlessly inspired by the way pregnancy & this landscape mirror one another. Both are wild & grounded, both are sacred, both are unfolding stories of life and love.

It’s so cliche but wow….. time really goes so fast. Being pregnant is one of the most special & unique experiences we are given in this life.

I love everything about these & my own maternity photos. The stillness, the wonder, the quiet anticipation, the unknown, the joy & the faith.

The more I let life move me the better I am.

On this evening, we wandered through the glowing brush just before sunset. The red rocks bathed everything in golden light & the quiet wrapped around us like a blanket. She moved through the desert with grace, her hand resting gently on her belly, eyes soft with peace and anticipation. He stood nearby, always close, always steady.

Their love was palpable. It wasn’t loud or showy. It was quiet, reverent, full of tenderness. You could feel it in the way they held hands and in the gentle smile she gave when he reached for her belly.

This is why I do what I do.
